Beginning Guitar I: Skills - Age 10-13yrs

This is where it all begins!

Never picked up a guitar before? Desperately seeking your inner rock star? This class is for you! You'll learn all the basics: how to tune your guitar, some easy chords and some simple strumming patterns. You’ll be introduced to the basic elements of rhythm and harmony that will have you making music in no time!  All group classes meet for 50 minutes once a week!

Open to students 10-13yrs.

Kids Beginner Guitar I: Songs!

This is where you'll put all of your new musical knowlrdge to use!  In the song class you'll apply the skills you acquired in the Skills Class to learn some of your favorite songs by bands like Guns and Roses, Jimi Hendrix and other songs of your choosing and then play them with your peers!

The songs in this class will change each semester.  We reccommend taking the Songs Class two times before moving on to Guitar II.

High energy parent-child classes based on rock, pop and jazz classics as well as some old favorites.  Your toddler will enjoy singing, dancing and lots of music making!  Age appropriate activities develop motor, cognitive, listening, and language skills as well as basic music concepts, a love of music and and an ease for learning it.  Great for families with kids ages 0-5!  20% discount for second or third sibling!
