In-Studio Lessons
Registration Fee (One Time for Admin Setup and Teacher Supplies): $30
Monthly Tuition (guaranteed four 30 minute weekly lessons each month): $152 ($38/lesson)
Lone Star School of Music is now offering traveling music lessons where our instructor will come to your home to teach lessons! Lone Star School of Music will be offering this service in the Lakeway, Dripping Springs and Cedar Park areas. Our instructors can teach one-on-one, dual or group lessons. Siblings and neighbors can have lessons together! Put together a garage rock band and our instructor can come to you to help guide your group to get ready for the stage!
We offer trial lessons for students aged 2-4 to see if they are able to efficiently participate in lessons. These trials are scheduled with specific instructors on the piano, voice or ukulele. Otherwise students should be 5 years old to begin lessons.
24 Hour Notice Policy
In the case that you need to reschedule your lesson, just let us know at least one business day before your scheduled lesson. We will either reschedule your lesson or credit your account with one makeup lesson that is valid to schedule for 6 months from the missed lesson date. Lessons that are cancelled the same day will be forfeited.
Makeup Credits - Not Applicable to Group Lessons
Makeup credits are valid for 6 months from the missed lesson date. Makeup lessons can be given as gifts to family and friends. Credits are eligible to be applied to the next month's tuition once the credit is one month from the expiration date. You can also schedule a makeup lesson with a substitute instructor or even try a new instrument with a substitute instructor if you would like or have trouble finding another time to meet with your regular instructor.
Mask Policy
Masks are optional for students and guests in the school. Masks are optional for Lone Star School of Music staff and instructors while on school premises.
Our facilities are sanitized periodically throughout the day by staff and the practice rooms are sanitized between each lesson by Lone Star instructors to make sure our community stays safe and happy!
Online Lessons
In the case you cannot make it to your lesson in person, you can opt in to have your lesson online for that given week! Just let us know at least one hour before your lesson so we can notify your instructor and send you the link to an online classroom!
Billing Cycle
Lone Star School of Music will collect tuition payments on the first of every month through automatic payments. If you need any special accommodations to this, just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. If your account is past due after the 5th of the month, a late fee of $35 will be applied and a drop date for the day after your second occurring lesson will be placed on the student file.
Trial Lessons
To schedule a trial lesson, payment must be received before the lesson occurs. Each student is allowed up to two trial lessons. With limited availability, we cannot schedule a lesson without first receiving payment and the student will be added to the calendar tentatively until payment is received. Trial lessons must be paid to be placed on the schedule and secure your time with the instructor.
Dropped Lessons
We require at minimum a two weeks notice to drop from lessons to receive a refund for any lessons that were not completed during the month. Anything less than two weeks' notice, will be forfeited or you can opt in to complete or gift your lessons to family or friends.
Students will be dropped after 4 no show lessons so that your account will not continue to be billed. These lessons will be forfeited.
